Maurice “Mo” Roberson, the Assistant Director of Athletics at California Baptist University, was elected President of the board of the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame for the 2012-2013 year. Roberson is a Riverside native, where he played baseball at John W. North High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from CBU in 2005 and a master’s degree in sports management from CBU in 2007.

About his service on RSHOF, Roberson said: “I appreciated seeing how my dad (Maurice Roberson Sr), Rich Stalder, Michael Scarano and others were giving back to the community, and I felt this organization would combine my passions: Riverside, sports and students.”

Roberson is joined by Jennifer Goldware Lamarre, Senior Account Manager at HUB International Insurance Services Inc. as Vice President. Lamarre was introduced to the organization by her father, Nick Goldware, who was a founding member of RSHOF and received the Chuck Kane Leadership award in 2011. This is her second year on the board and she says of jumping into leadership: “ I have always loved the mission of RSHOF and I am so proud that I now have the opportunity to become a part of something that holds a special place in my dad’s heart.”
