Gary is an enthusiastic supporter of Riverside school programs, donating football and band equipment for Poly and funding their Fitness Room. He is the driving force behind the Poly Green and Orange Booster Club, was founder and president of RCC’s Tiger Backers Booster Club and created the RCC “Papa Bear” scholarship. Gary was the Chambers of Commerce 1966 Citizen of the Year, Riverside Community Hospital Philanthropist of the Year and RCC Hall of Fame Alumnus of the Year in 2006.
