Gary was a four-sport athlete at Poly, lettering in football, baseball, basketball, and track. He was the 1957 CIF Football Player of the Year. A co-captain, he set new season records with 22 touchdowns and gained 1660 total yards.

    Gary was a four-sport athlete at Poly, lettering in football, baseball, basketball, and track. He was the 1957 CIF Football Player of the Year. A co-captain, he set new season records with 22 touchdowns and gained 1660 total yards. He was named All-CBL, All-CIF First Team, and High School All-American and won the “Jerry Varnell Most Inspirational Player” basketball award. Gary then led Stanford University in punting as a sophomore, averaging 44 yards per punt, topping all other West Coast Colleges. Gary was a team leader.

    I can't believe, the founder of EFT is inducted in my cities Sport Hall of Fame. Who would have thought?
