Athlete, post-1970

Mark was a running back at the University of Notre Dame and for the Chicago Bears in the NFL. He won championships at both the high school and collegiate level and became an accomplished professional in the business world after his sports career was over.

Polytechnic High School

Accomplishments:
All-CIF on championship team at Poly HS (1984)
Played on 12-0 National Championship team at Notre Dame (1988)
5th round selection in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears
Serves as Chairperson for the NFL Players Association Scholarship Program

I remember when I helped coach the Poly High basketball team that I was impressed by your positive character and unselfish personality….and you were just a young man then! It was a pleasure being your coach on the Poly High JV baskeyball for two years. Not only were you an outstanding player but your outstanding attitude and work ethic contributed greatly to the success of the team. Again, congratulations and good luck.
